A back-to-basics approach guarantees pupils' knowledge-gaps are closed, reinforced and further extended.

My aim for each child is to stimulate and motivate them so they can achieve their academic potential. This will give them greater confidence, enjoyment and success in the classroom.

Dyslexia:

I am trained as a dyslexic specialist. This enables me to undertake a comprehensive correction course with individual children. I can provide further information on dyslexia and the DEAR (Dyslexia Enrichment and Reorientation) correction programmes.

My Experience and Qualifications

Caron Rogan has a BA in education from Auckland University, and a Diploma in Teaching from Auckland Training College.

Caron has attained and was a registered teacher.

Before she left classroom teaching to become a full time tutor in 2001 Caron spent 20 years as a school teacher. During her career the Waikato schools she taught include Berkley Intermediate, Fairfield Intermediate, Peachgrove Intermediate, Maeroa Intermediate, Melville Intermediate, St Andrews Intermediate, Melville Intermediate, Fraser High School, Sacred Heart Girls College, Knighton Normal School and Silverdale Primary. Caron has also taught at primary and intermediate schools in Auckland and Napier.

Caron has a NZ Professional Tennis Coaches qualification and has coached tennis at Hamilton Girls' High School, Hillcrest High School, Hillcrest Normal School, Peachgrove Intermediate, St Peters Chanel, Marion School and Waikato Diocesan School.
